TERMS & REGULATIONS


A $75 Deposit/Retainer is due at the time of booking your/ANY session. This is to ensures that your appointment spot is held. This fee is Non-Refundable, as it holds a slot that could be given to someone else. Although the website lists this fee as a deposit, you acknowledge this fee is a retainer for your spot. Non refundable/Transferable. Miranda McKay Photography has the right to cancel any session for any reason, the deposit would then be transferable for up to 3 months.

Cancellation:

You may cancel your appointment up to 24 hours prior to your session time. If you need to reschedule your appointment, you can do so through the website or contact me and i will reschedule it for you. Please keep in mind that an additional retainer may be required to hold another day. Anything canceled after 24 hours of the session time will result in full payment. Mini session cancellations are non transferable to other mini sessions.

Digital Images:

Galleries will have a MINIMUM 2-3 week turn around time. I do try to post a Sneak peek on my Facebook page within 1 week of the session (session must be paid in full for a sneak peek) however it is NOT to be expected. Please do not message me if it has not been 3 weeks since your session. I promise to get all images to you AS SOON as i can. I typically do 5+ session a week and that is a lot of images to edit. Thank you for being patient.

I, as the photographer, own all right to the images. Please do NOT edit any of the images or apply any filters to the images. Unedited/Raw images will not be released or sold.

Liability:

Miranda McKay Photography places a high priority on the safety and health of all clients. Decisions will be made with the safety of your family in mind and locations will be chosen, taking the ages of the client’s children under consideration. Ultimately clients are to be held fully responsible for the safety of their children regardless of location. The studio contains equipment that can be toppled and wires on the floors that are connected to the photography equipment. There is a risk of tripping and being injured by falling equipment, especially with small children. The client takes responsibility for the safety of him/herself and of all individuals present for the photo session and agrees to not hold Miranda McKay Photography responsible for any injuries that may occur regardless of location. While the photographer places a high priority on the safety and health of all clients, the client agrees to not hold Miranda McKay photography responsible for exposure to any illness during a photo session. Risk of illness can be minimized by opting for an outdoor or natural light home photography session.

Update to the Contract:

* It is important that all clients keep their children with them at all times and do not let them wonder away.

* There is absolutely NO chasing the animals on the property.

* Do NOT attempt to pick up the animals without permission.

* Clients will be held 100% accountable to any harm done to the animals from children of any age. Including vet bills or the cost of replacement for the animal.

* Animals do, naturally, bite and kick when they feel threatened in any way. If you request photos with any animal, Miranda McKay Photography will not be held responsible.
